Today is an important day for affordable and sustainable #Emobility from Volkswagen. In the presence of the Spanish King, Feilipe VI, we presented our members of the Electric Urban Car Family in Martorell near Barcelona.

➡ The series production version of the ID. 2all* is an all-electric Volkswagen starting at less than 25,000 euros, with our new design language. It will also be available as a powerful GTI version. 🏎

➡ The second car is a super attractive, roomy SUV based on the
ID. 2all*. The project name is "ID. 2x". This vehicle will be presented to the public in 2026. 🚘

➡ Other members of the Electric Urban Car Family are the CUPRA Raval and the Škoda Epiq.

All four cars are based on one shared platform and will be built in Spain from 2026 on. 📅

This demonstrates the strength of the #BrandGroupCore - consisting of VW, Seat / Cupra, Škoda Auto and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles - in building affordable e-models. 💪

In Martorell, SEAT,SA is already investing 300 million euros in a new battery assembly plant with an initial production capacity of 1,400 battery systems per day and an impact of more than 500 jobs. 🔧

The new facility will assemble cells from PowerCo’s gigafactory near Valencia, another important part of the Volkswagen Group's commitment to e-mobility. 🔋
